How to Check a Kerala Lottery Result by Draw Number
Searching by date gets you the wrong scheme. Searching by draw code gets you exactly one document. Read the draw code off your ticket, open the official Kerala State Lotteries result document for that exact code, search it for the last digits of your ticket number, then read every prize tier from the bottom up. Never act on a re-typed table from a third-party site.
Step 1 — Read the Code, Not the Date
On the ticket, find the two letters, hyphen and number printed near the scheme name. That is your draw identifier. Read the scheme name at the same time, because the two confirm each other and because two schemes can share a first letter.

Step 2 — Go to the Official Source First
Open the Kerala State Lotteries department site and find its results section, which lists published draws. This is the step people skip because an aggregator loads faster and looks tidier — and it is the step that makes everything after it reliable.

Step 3 — Match the Code Exactly
Find the entry whose prefix and number both match your ticket. Both halves matter:
- Right prefix, wrong number = the same scheme on a different week.
- Right number, wrong prefix = a completely unrelated draw that happens to sit at the same point in its own count.
Confirm the draw date shown on the document against your expectation. If they disagree, trust the document and re-read your ticket.
Step 4 — Search the Document Properly
Result documents are long. Use the viewer’s find function rather than your eyes:
- Search the last four digits of your ticket number first. Those digits appear in the widest range of tiers, so it is the highest-yield search.
- Then search the full number to check the upper tiers.
- If the search returns nothing at all — not even for a number you can clearly see on screen — the file is probably a scanned image rather than selectable text. In that case you have to read the tiers by eye, slowly.
On a phone, most PDF viewers have a search icon or a find option in the overflow menu. It is worth locating it once; you will use it every draw day.
Step 5 — Read Every Tier, From the Bottom Up
Most people check the first prize, see nothing and stop. That is exactly backwards. The structure of a Kerala result sheet is roughly:

Step 6 — Check the Series Letter at the Top
For the first prize and consolation rows, the series letters printed with your ticket number are decisive. The first prize belongs to one number in one series; the same number in the other series is generally a consolation. If you match a headline number but your series letter differs, you have almost certainly found a consolation row rather than the top prize — still worth claiming, and worth understanding before you tell the family.
If the Result Is Not Up Yet
Kerala declares results progressively on draw day, traditionally from around 3 PM IST, with the complete official document following. In the gap, partial numbers circulate on social media and get re-typed by aggregators — and a number seen live and typed twice is exactly how a wrong digit enters circulation.

If Something Matches
Verify once more against the official document. Then sign the reverse of the ticket, photograph both sides, and store it flat and dry — the original paper is what a claim is settled against. Do not post a photograph of it publicly, and do not hand the original to anyone who is not the official claim channel.
